Our Thermal & Flow Analysis Solutions
Flow Analysis and effect of adjustment screw of a Door Closer:
The objective of the simulation is to find out the relationship between the force required to open the door and the advancement of the adjustment screw. The results obtained from simulation exposed some design problems which were then rectified. The new design simulated again worked well during testing.
External Flow Simulation for a Utility Vehicle :
The objective of the simulation is to find out the drag coefficient on the vehicle when it travels at 40km/hr. The results obtained from simulation compared very well with the wind tunnel results obtained for the same vehicle. The analysis was repeated for several variants of the same vehicle.
Temperature Distribution inside an Electronic Enclosure cooled by natural convection:
The objective of the simulation is to find out the temperature distribution due to natural convection. The results obtained from simulation showed that the temperatures were higher than that the system was designed for. The analysis was rerun with a fan to provide forced convection. The system with a fan is in production.
Coupled Flow and Thermal Analysis of Heat Sink:
The objective of the simulation is to find out the maximum temperature in the heat sink due to forced convection by an external fan. The simulation was run as a coupled flow and thermal analysis. The results obtained from simulation was used to optimize the design of the fans and the heat sink
