Our Motion Simulation Solutions
Pick and Drop:
The animation shows a representative Pick and Drop mechanism. The contact between the block and the grip has been modeled by friction and normal pressure applied to the block. The objective of the analysis is to find out the minimum pressure which needs to be applied by the grip to hold, lift, move and drop the block. The output from the analysis is a Pressure Vs. Time curve.
Cylindrical CAM:
The animation shows a cylindrical CAM which converts a rotatory motion into a translatory motion. The shape of the 3D spline and the speed of the cylinder determine the vertical motion of the follower. The output is the Displacement Vs Time curve.
Operation of Camshaft:
The animation shows the mechanism used for the opening and closing of engine ports. The contact between the cam and the follower is modeled and the motion of the follower is the actual motion to be expected in actual operation
Speed Governor:
The animation shows the representative model of a speed governor. The inertia of the rotating weight at the end of the links causes the ends of the links to move upwards. When the speed of the rotating shaft increases, the ends of the link move and reduce the fuel input. This reduces the speed of the shaft and the ends of the link move down. The objective of the analysis is to find out the vertical displacement of the links as a function of the rotating speed.
